Spain will close seven airports in the north as ash from a volcano in Iceland continues to drift across Europe.
From 21:00 CEST Saturday and until 11:00 CEST on Sunday, airports in Asturias, Santander, Bilbao, San Sebastian, Pamplona, Vitoria and Logrono will be closed, Spain's airport authority AENA said.
European air traffic officials on Saturday said the cloud of volcanic ash from Iceland will continue to impact flights across north and central Europe until at least Sunday afternoon.
